La compañía de teatro ‘Veus-Veus’ acudió el pasado 6 de marzo al colegio Mata Linares de San Vicente de la Barquera para representar la obra ‘La Bella y la Bestia’ en versión bilingüe español-inglés. Los alumnos nos cuentan la obra en los dos idiomas.
Ese día tuvimos el recreo a las diez y media, mientras que siempre le tenemos a las once. A las once se acabó el recreo y bajamos al polideportivo a ver la obra, que duró más o menos una hora.
Eran cuatro actores y entre ellos cuatro interpretaron a seis personajes: la Bella, la Bestia, el padre de la Bella, Gastón, el hombre convertido en reloj y el hombre convertido en vela.
Todo comenzó con un príncipe que un buen día fue una señora a su castillo y le pidió ayuda, el príncipe como era tan malo la echó de su castillo porque era fea y vieja. La señora se convirtió en hada, le hizo un conjuro y le convirtió en Bestia.
Un día Bella y su padre salieron con marionetas hacia un pueblo y de repente empezó a llover, y llamaron a un castillo y entraron. Allí vivía una Bestia, un hombre convertido en vela y otro hombre convertido en reloj. La Bestia se quería llevar a Bella, pero su padre lo impidió y se lo llevaron a él, y tras varios días Bella se enamoró de la Bestia y la Bestia, el reloj y la vela se convirtieron en personas.
Cuando la obra terminó pudimos hacer preguntas a los actores. Fue un día fantástico. Nos lo pasamos realmente bien.

Translation
The last 6th of March was a very special day because a theatre company CAME to our school. The company is called “Veus-Veus”. They played “The Beauty and the Beast” in English-Spanish. That day we had the break at half past ten, we always have breakfast at eleven o’clock. We finished the break and we went down to the sports centre to watch the play. The play was more or less one our.
They were three actors and one actress. The four played six characters. The characters were the Beauty, the Beast, the Beauty’s father, Gaston, a man became into a clock called Din-Don and a man became into a candle.
Everything started with a spoilt prince. One day and old lady went to his castle and she asked for help and the prince was so bad that he threw her from the castle because she was ugly and old. The lady became a fairy. She put a curse and she became him into a beast.
One day Beauty and his father were to the village with their puppets and suddenly it started raining. They knocked a castle door and they went into the castle. There lived the Beast, a man became into a candle and another man became a clock. The Beast wanted to get the Beauty and the Beast took out the Beauty’s father. A day after the Beauty was in love with the Beast. The Beast, the clock and the candle became people.
When the play finished we could asked some questions to the actors and actress. It was a great day! we enjoyed a lot!.
